Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Feather email client ("Service") operated by Feather ("Feather", "We", "Us", or "Our").
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("You", "User") and Feather, and govern your access to and use of the Service.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
Capitalized terms have the meanings defined below. These definitions apply equally regardless of whether the terms appear in singular or plural form.
Definitions
Application means the software provided by the Feather, accessible on mobile devices, tablets, desktop computers, or any other compatible device.
Affiliate means any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Service.
Country refers to California, United States.
Device refers to any device capable of accessing the Service, including smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Google Workspace Data means data accessed via Google APIs on your behalf, including Gmail messages, Google Calendar events, Google Drive files, Google Contacts, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
AI Agent means the AI-powered assistant within the Service that can perform actions on your behalf, including sending emails, creating calendar events, and editing documents.
Service (referred to as either "the Service", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to the Application.
Terms and Conditions (also referred as "Terms") mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service.
Third-party Social Media Service refers to any service or content (including data, information, products, or services) provided by a third party that may be displayed or accessible via the Service.
You means the individual user, or the company, or legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Acknowledgment
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Service and constitute the agreement between You and Feather.
Your access to and use of the Service are subject to Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all individuals, including visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, You may not access or use the Service.
You represent that You are at least 18 years old. The Service is not intended for individuals under 18, and such individuals are not permitted to use it.
Google Account Integration
The Service requires You to connect a Google account. By doing so, You authorize Feather to access Your Google Workspace Data — including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Contacts — on your behalf, using OAuth 2.0.
You may revoke this access at any time via your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access will disable the Service for your account.
Feather's use of Google Workspace Data is governed by our Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
AI Agent — Actions on Your Behalf
The Service includes an AI Agent that can perform actions within your Google account on your behalf, including but not limited to:
- Composing, sending, archiving, and deleting emails
- Creating, updating, and deleting calendar events
- Reading and editing Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Organizing and managing Google Drive files
You are responsible for reviewing and confirming AI Agent actions before they are executed where confirmation is requested. Feather is not liable for actions taken by the AI Agent based on your instructions.
You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies and agree to review any AI-generated output before acting on it.
Links to Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Feather. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that Feather will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from Your use of or reliance on any third-party content, products, or services.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms. Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Feather and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, damages resulting from loss of profits, loss of data or other information, business interruption, personal injury, or loss of privacy, arising from or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service, third-party software or hardware used in connection with the Service, or any other matter related to these Terms, even if the Service or its suppliers have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and even if any remedy fails to fulfill its essential purpose.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, excluding its conflict of law rules. Your use of the Service may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.
Refund Policy
All sales for the Service are final. We do not offer refunds for any payments made. By purchasing a subscription, You acknowledge and agree that You are not entitled to a refund under any circumstances.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to update or modify these Terms at any time. If we make material revisions, We will provide notice (e.g., via email or through the Service) at least 30 days in advance. The determination of what constitutes a material change will be made at Our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use the Service after the revised terms take effect, You agree to be bound by those changes. If You do not accept the updated terms, in whole or in part, You must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
